Current Money Market Trends
The Current Money Market movements are telling us something ;
Officials Cash Rate 2.50% (unchanged)
90 Day Bill Rate 2.71% (up from 2.65%)
1 Year Swap Rate 3.25% (up from 3.07%)
3 Year Swap Rate 4.07% (up from 3.93%)
10 Year Bond Rate 4.80% (up from 4.70%)
The markets are pricing in an Interest Rate rise.
There is strong competition amongst the Bank’s for customers, and some great Home Loan Fixed Interest Rate offers available. If you are concerned about possible Interest Rates rises, and the impact it will have on you, it may be worth considering a Fixed Rate.
